Classroom Expectations
*It will never be okay to disrupt learning (this includes your learning as well)
*It will never be okay to disrespect others (this also includes you)
*BULLYING IN ANY WAY WILL NEVER BE TOLERATED, FOR ANY REASON!!
*You need to come to class EVERYDAY prepared with the necessary supplies to be ready to learn and have a successful day. :o)
>Pencil
>Checking Pen: This can be any color except black (looks too similar to the color of your pencil)
>Reading Book
>H.W. if assigned (I do not assign very much homework)
>Agenda
>Charged Chrome Book
*You are expected to fill out your agenda EVERYDAY. You need to write down the learning target and homework. If there isn't any homework, you will need to write, none, in the homework section. You will also need to write down any notes or reminders needed to be prepared for the next class period.
*Strive to do your personal best. Remember that someone else's personal best may not be the same as yours. We are all in this together and we need to support and help each other.
Technology
Okay, so by now you all understand the expectations of technology use. However, I want to make sure you are VERY clear on the expectations that I EXPECT you all to follow at ALL times. Technology use is a privilege, not a right. I can just as easily copy off worksheets and get any hard copy of resource books you need to complete assignments. It will NEVER be okay to get on any other site other than what is listed or approved by myself or another adult here at school. This also means that what may be okay for you to get on at home doesn't mean it's okay for you to get on here at school. Unfortunately, there seems to always be pop ups, advertisements, crazies, or images that may show up despite our best efforts to block them. Should this happen, DO NOT CLICK ON THEM TO GO TO ANOTHER SITE. YOU ARE NOT GOING TO WIN THE BIG PRIZE..........besides, you would have to split it with your teacher lol, jk, but seriously, DONT. DO NOT TRY AND CHECK YOUR FACE BOOK, SNAP CHAT, TAKE SELFIES, SEND NOTES, WATCH YOUTUBE VIDEOS, POST ANYTHING RUDE, GET ON GAMES WHEN YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO, OR ANYTHING ELSE THAT I HAVEN'T MENTIONED THAT YOU KNOW YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO. You're old enough and smart enough to know better. Not abiding by these expectations will make your teacher frown at you :o( and cause you to lose your computer privileges.
